sometimes when people are depressed they are unsure of the reason
this can be due tothe subconciouse thoughts that they dont realise
hyonosis opens your mind and the subconcious this means the main issue that is troubling a depressed person can be looked upon and delt with in finer detail, some thing have been repressed so much we dont understand what is causing us so much unhappiness and hypnosis can help by finding the cause of the issue and a psycologist understands what he is working with
Hypnosis can assist with depression. If someone is depressed they should definitely seek the help of a doctor, psychologist or psychiatrist. These professionals sometimes offer hypnosis or can work with a Cerified Hypnotist.
Depression can be chemical. There can be an issue with the seratonin uptake inhibitors.
Clinical depression comes in waves usually around 6 month periods and recurs.
Some people are only temporarily depressed such as those grieving.
Hypnosis can help bring someone back to a state of well-being in fewer sessions than traditional therapy because it gets right to the subconscious.
Hope that helps!
Depression usually falls into two categories, major [ clinical ] and minor [ of varying degrees ]. Clinical depression is a brain chemistry problem and generally requires medication + counseling. Finding the cause of minor depression is more complex and depends on many factors e.g. it can be anger turned inward, often coupled with guilt. For instance you could be angry towards your parents and feel guilty about this. Hypnosis can help uncover the root [ subconscious ] cause of the depression/ anger/ guilt. Only when one has an understanding of the underlying cause can it be tackled by therapy, possibly C.B.T.
Well, hypnosis has a funny way of reaching into people’s inner souls, not minds, and it is for that reason that people with an ailment such as depression could benefit from hypnosis. Depression has many causes, but by telling someone that has a degree to understand indirectly, you find all the causes at once. Then, you yourself can realize what ails you so, as well as your doctor, psychologist, shrink, e.t.c. In short, hypnosis is like the gardener of weeds. It pulls them out so you can have a closer look at what you’ve got, you see?
“And that’s about all I know about that” – Forrest Gump
Yes it can. I use hypnosis for pain.
It’s just a very very relaxed state of mind and allows for your body to readjust or “start over”. With guides from the psychologist or doctor, they can help with altering the way you think or perceive things, but it is mostly a SELF thing. YOU have to be committed to change, want to change, want to be happier and make every effort to try to do that as well.
It’s not like you see on TV or magic.
I love it.
Hypnosis has helped people in the past but each individual is diffrent. Hypnosis works through the power of suggestion. If a therapist tells you that you are not depressed while you are in a trance, you may no longer be depressed. It’s as simple as that. I hope this helps!
